Kind humans Ian and Liz Finlay decided to adopt the stray dog, who became a friend of their another own cat Spice.

The kitten had some health problem, he had an abscess on his neck, so, when his humans brought him to the vet for his treatment, they were told there, that Nutmeg is about 5 years old.

This fact might make the tabby kitten the world’s oldest cat.

Unfortunately, to prove this, they have to show to the Guinness Records the birthday documents of the gorgeous cat, which they haven’t. Though they continue to work on it.

Last year Nutmeg got sick, he had a serious stroke. But the strong cat, to his humans’ surprise, recovered fully and until now keeps ruling the Finlay’s house.

This make Liz and Ian wonder how many lives can their beloved cat have.

Nutmeg is absolutely spoiled cat, who can wake up his owners at 5 o’clock in the morning to ask them to feed him, but it doesn’t hold them to adore him.
