There are many “day” animal shelters to where owners give their pets while they are at work.
It is almost a day care center for dogs – and they are always happy to be there. One organization even picks up dogs from homes on a “school bus” and takes them to a shelter. It looks extremely cute!
While the owners are at work, they can always give the pet to a kind of daycare for dogs, where employees feed them, care for them, play with them.
Recently, such shelters have gone further – they began to pick up wards on a special school bus!
The Doggie School Bus in Oregon was started by a guy named Arat Montoya. He opened the shelter back in 2016, but it has evolved over time.
Then the guy picked up a few dogs in a small car, and drove to a rented house, where he looked after them all day.
Now there are several cars in the garage of the shelter, as well as areas for dogs. The shelter usually takes care of 20 dogs per day.
Arat himself easily manages with 20 fluffies, knows the names of all his regular customers, and loves dogs. They always run with joy, hearing the sounds of the bus near the house – and then have fun all day in the company of their relatives.
