Who doesn’t love a good night’s sleep? We all love hugs, and cats are no exception.

If you love to sleep and also adore cats, and do not know how to combine these two loves into one, then you should read this cute story.

75-year-old retiree Terry Lauerman seems to be very fond of cats, and also loves to take a couple of hours of naps during the day.

And on top of everything else, he is a nice, kind old man who loves to help animals.

That’s why he came to Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in Green Bay one day, waving a brush and asking if he could take care of cats.

“He just walked in and tried to brush our cat. In the end, we told him that he could become a volunteer, and he filled out our volunteer form,” said Elisabeth Feldhausen, founder of the shelter.

Terry visits the shelter daily, staying for about 3 hours. He brushes the cats before falling asleep with them, then wakes up and repeats the process.

In addition, the atmosphere of the shelter, which is more like a café, with sofas and a TV, is conducive to taking a little nap.

After the shelter decided to post Terry’s story and photos on Facebook, the post quickly went viral, as a result, making an advertisement for the shelter.

Now people come to the shelter to look at the “cat grandpa”, and some began to donate decent amounts, which of course helps this institution a lot.

“Our donations have increased! We usually earn between $3,000 and $4,000 a month. But this week we made $30,000! It’s amazing because we rely solely on donations!” Elisabeth Feldhausen said.

All money, of course, will go to the needs of cats.
