When the mini cow named Haru was very small, other cows in the herd did not accept and ignored him. So he spent a lot of time alone and was often sad.
But that all changed after he met his new best friends, a group of dogs living with Amber Sullivan Waugh and her husband Anthony.
Amber and Anthony were not sure that Haru would get along with dogs when they first brought him to their farm. But once the cow got to know them, all doubts disappeared.
“Haru really liked our dogs! He got used to their company in about a week,” Amber says.
The dogs began to take care of the cow like a brother, and now Haru not only gets along with them – he behaves just like them. Dogs also think that Haru is just another big dog.
Because Haru weighs a little more than his shaggy siblings, he always acts careful not to hurt them.
The cow tries not to interfere with the dogs if necessary, and also helps them look after newborn puppies.
The owners of Haru can no longer imagine life without their cheerful bull, who is sure that he is a dog, and consider him just the perfect pet.
