A resident of Great Britain, Rosie, told how she met the neighbor’s cat, Willow.
Rosie moved into a new house with a terrace a couple of years ago.
The woman said that the entire street on which she now lives was built of these houses.
Many neighbors plant flower beds and trees on their plots.
At some point, Rosie began to notice that fresh flower buds appear on her terrace every day.
At first, the woman thought that perhaps it was the neighbor’s kids playing around, or the flowers were brought here by strong gusts of wind, or a secret admirer had appeared (although it is unlikely that someone would give some buds, without stems): however, these versions were not confirmed.
A neighbor told Rosie that the flowers were brought by Willow the cat.
His porch is also strewn with these buds.
The man added that he saw a cat carrying flowers in its teeth, and then asks for an afternoon nap.
Rosie could not even imagine that Willow was so grateful to her (and not only her, there were several more neighbors on the same street to whom the cat brings roses) for the delicious food and the opportunity to sleep in a box or on her favorite blanket.
Rosie, without hesitation, armed herself with a phone and began to wait for Willow.
Indeed, what the woman saw caused a storm of emotions.
Willow brought a bud in her teeth and laid it next to the door.
Where Willow learned such manners is unclear, perhaps she just saw her owners pick flowers, or someone gives flowers to them, and decided to use this token of attention herself.
She took roses from the site of her owners and nearby houses.
And yes, Willow has caring owners of his own.
But, as you know, cats do not mind being treated to something tasty by neighbors or scratching behind their ear – this story is understandable.
