Since Samantha Smith took Luna from a shelter, fluffy has not left her a single step.
“We have a very strong connection with Luna. She is so loving and always follows me around! Everyone who comes to visit us loves to communicate with her, even those who do not like cats,” Samantha Smith said.
Because Luna and Samantha are so close, it didn’t take long for the cat to realize her two-legged mom was pregnant.
Throughout the pregnancy Samantha, the cat was very caring and attentive. And when the appointed date of birth began to approach, Luna began to prepare the house for the appearance of the baby.
Preparations began around the fifth month of Samantha’s pregnancy.
At night, Luna began to put different items of clothing in a small pile, creating something like a cozy nest for mother and child.
“The closer the date of birth was, the more often Luna began to create nests. Every night I got up, hugged her, kissed her and said that I really appreciated her efforts,” Samantha said.
The most mysterious thing was that Luna always started messing with her clothes at about 3:30 in the morning, and Samantha gave birth at 3:18, so the woman believes that the pet knew something about her childbirth in advance.
Finally, after months of waiting, the caring cat met her little brother for the first time. But she was not as impressed with the baby as her owner expected.
Now Luna is gradually getting used to the new family member, but so far she approaches him with caution.
