According to NY Post insiders, the couple demand a place on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to be on a par with other members of the royal family. And, most importantly, the presence of their children, 12-month-old Lilibet and 3-year-old Archie, who, according to some reports, are not on the list of invitees.
The source added that this is only due to the fact that the kids can ruin the social reception.
But Meghan and Harry are sure that members of the royal family should definitely pay attention to the grandchildren of the king. Moreover, on the same day Archie will be four years old. A simple toast in honor of the baby is simply necessary.
All this sounds diplomatic, especially since the children of Kate Middleton and Prince William are directly involved in the event.
But according to royal protocol, only current members of the royal family can be on the balcony during the coronation. And the Dukes of Sussex have long resigned their official powers and moved to the United States.
