Gigi Hadid, 27, is one of the world’s most sought-after models.
But in addition to fashion modeling, she manages to raise her daughter Khai and also works on her own brand that produces home textiles.
While fans were wondering how the fashion model manages to combine all these roles, she seems to have managed to get a little tired of her fame.
This became clear after a recent interview that Gigi gave to Elle journalists. At one point, Hadid simply burst into tears.
“I get emotional every time I think about it. What the world doesn’t know about me? I don’t know. It is very difficult. I think many people would learn interesting things about the other side of fame if they could talk to me,” admitted the model.
According to Gigi, she understands that this may sound like a very strange complaint.
“Actually, someone just needed to say it. There are too many quick moments in our careers when you don’t have time to add context,” Hadid emphasized.
Serena Williams, as the fashion model admitted, taught her how to deal with criticism.
“She once said to me, ‘Nothing stays in the press for more than three weeks.’ Of course, during this time it sometimes seems that the whole life has come to an end,” added the fashion model.
She summed it up by explaining that at the end of her life, she is unlikely to remember this or that stupid interview that was misunderstood by fans.
Gigi admitted that to this day she is learning not to take herself and her work too seriously. Probably, the model tried to please everyone for a very long time, but in the end came to the conclusion that this is simply impossible.
