Marilyn Hartman has always loved to travel. And over the past 19 years she has managed to visit Copenhagen, Seattle, London, Barcelona, and many more places.
In general, she has flown almost half the world.
And at the same time, she didn’t spend a dime on her hobby. The woman always got on the flight for free, just pretending to go with other people.
Her first free flight was in 2002. She traveled to Copenhagen.
The story became public only recently: Marilyn was finally detained at the airport.
As it turned out, she had already been stopped in 2014, and the court officially forbade the woman from repeating her “tricks”. But at the time, the press missed the situation.
This time, the woman was stopped at O’Hare Airport, and she spoke honestly about the method by which she flies for free.
“I didn’t deceive anyone. Often it was not even necessary to start a conversation. If there was a noticeable person in front of me, I just tried to pass the control right behind him. During the search, everyone thought that I was in the company,” Hartman said.
In total, Hartman got on more than 30 flights. The further fate of the woman will be decided by the authorities.
