This cute kitty named Duchess had a rough start in life.
She was found by kind people who brought the poor girl to the veterinary clinic.
Duchess was hit by a car and was in critical condition.
In addition to multiple hematomas, the stray cat had a broken jaw.
“Her chances of survival were almost zero, but we did everything we could to make sure she survived,” says Crystal Tate, Humane Community Veterinarian.
A few days later, Duchess’s jaw began to heal. The feeding tube was finally removed, and she was able to eat on her own.
“It was during that period that our little Duchess began to purr and get to know all the clinic staff. It gave us hope and made it clear that everything would be fine!”, says Crystal.
Volunteers were next to the snow-white beauty day and night.
They talked to the cat, stroked her, tried to entertain her with soft toys.
However, the baby needed foster parents who could adopt her and give her all their love and tenderness.
The shelter staff will be looking for the perfect family in which Duchess, with her special needs, would be comfortable and good.
In the meantime, the smiling fluffy miracle is recovering, enjoying life and communicating with people, and reminds everyone that every day is a gift and miracles really do happen, you just have to believe in them!
