😲😍 Can you guess how many square meters this house has?
18. Yes, you read that right. 18 m² to live, entertain, cook, rest…
And yet, it’s become our little piece of paradise.

We built a small 18 m² house: what do you think?
With my husband, we made a dream come true: to build a tiny, warm, and functional home of just 18 m². Today, we’d love to show it to you and hear what you think!
This tiny home, which we find especially cozy, tells a beautiful story: that of two motivated people, driven by the desire to create a harmonious space with little, but thoughtfully designed. And believe us, that passion made all the difference.
Designed like a small studio, the cabin blends perfectly into its natural surroundings. From the outside, it has incredible charm. A lovely terrace bordered with plants and little paths completes the picture, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.
An optimized interior, carefully planned down to the last detail
Inside, you step directly into a multifunctional room that combines kitchen, living area, and sleeping space. Everything was designed to combine simplicity, elegance, and efficiency. Each item has its place: well-positioned shelves, rugs that warm up the atmosphere, a discreet but useful coat rack… Nothing was left to chance.
Despite the small surface area, the house has everything needed for comfortable everyday living: a well-equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a cozy sleeping nook, and a reading or TV corner.
Comfort all year round, even in winter
In our opinion, this small house is perfect for a single person year-round or as a seasonal second home. It’s fully insulated and built to withstand the coldest months. As the owner says:
“This little nest was built like a thermos, with thick 25 cm walls and underfloor heating that ensures optimal thermal comfort.”
Even in winter, it’s warm and cozy.
Charm in every detail
The kitchen has an electric heating system, and we reused old light fixtures from a previous home, which add a touch of authentic charm.
This little cocoon also serves to host our guests, since our main residence is nearby. So, it’s not just a shelter, but a space for sharing.
So, what do you think? Doesn’t this project prove that with a bit of imagination, you can turn a small space into a true haven of peace? Even with just 18 m², it’s possible to live comfortably… and in style!
