Isabella had drawn a little red house on the mansion wall… but when Adrián had the panel removed, even Mateo recoiled at what was hidden behind it.
Adrián found Isabella sitting in front of the wall in the grand living room, absorbed in a drawing of a little red house surrounded by trees. Curious, he asked her where she had seen the house.
The little girl replied that a woman showed her this place in her dreams.
Behind them, Mateo, who happened to be passing by, suddenly froze. Adrián immediately noticed the change in his expression and asked whether he recognized the house. Mateo denied it without hesitation.
However, when Adrián compared the drawing with an old map of the estate, he discovered that the house stood in exactly the location indicated, several miles from the mansion.
Intrigued by this strange coincidence, they decided to go there.
Inside, they discovered a child’s bedroom that had remained untouched for fifteen years. On the bed lay a photograph showing two women: Adrián’s mother and a young woman whom Mateo recognized immediately.
He stepped back, his face suddenly turning pale, then whispered in a trembling voice:
“She was never supposed to be found.”

Isabella had drawn a little red house on the mansion wall… but when Adrián ordered the panel to be smashed, even Mateo recoiled at what was hidden behind it.
At first, no one noticed Isabella. In the mansion’s enormous living room, the adults were chatting around tables covered with glasses and bouquets of flowers. Chandeliers bathed the dark wood paneling in a golden glow.
Kneeling in front of a wall, the little girl was drawing with a red marker. She drew two vertical lines, added a triangular roof, and completed a small, narrow house.
Valentina spotted her and hurried over.
“Isabella, what are you doing?”
The little girl looked neither guilty nor frightened. She simply seemed focused.
When she finished, she placed a finger on the drawing.
“It’s here.”
“What’s here?” Valentina asked.
Isabella did not answer.
Mateo arrived, his expression stern. When he saw the drawing on the wooden paneling, he flew into a rage, but Valentina immediately stepped between him and the child to protect her.
A few feet away, Adrián silently observed the scene. Dressed in black, with a golden cross around his neck and tattoos extending up to the back of his neck, he carefully examined the symbol, then the seams of the panel.
His expression suddenly changed.
“Break that panel,” he ordered.
Mateo protested, but Adrián refused to back down.
Moments later, a hammer struck the wood. The paneling shattered in a cloud of dust, revealing a black metal door fitted with a small electronic device whose indicator light glowed green.
Isabella stared at it without the slightest surprise, as though she had known all along that it was there.
No one could understand how she had discovered the door.
Adrián ordered the mansion’s old blueprints to be brought to him. On a document dating back twenty-three years, the wall appeared as an ordinary partition.
However, on the oldest blueprint, an inscription marked that exact spot:
P-17 — Technical Access.
The inscription had been crossed out and accompanied by two contradictory notes:
“SEALED OFF” and “DO NOT REMOVE.”
Mateo claimed to know nothing about the installation, but his reaction aroused Adrián’s suspicions.
That was when Valentina noticed a small copper plate among the debris.
It bore the same code: P-17.
When she questioned Isabella, she learned that the little girl had recently found a small yellow book in a drawer in her bedroom.
Inside, several drawings depicted exactly the same red symbol.
One handwritten sentence particularly caught her attention:
“When you find the brown wall, draw the house in the middle.”
The following page contained another instruction:
“Don’t ask what’s behind it. Just say: It’s here.”
Adrián then realized that someone had deliberately guided the child to the panel.
But the last page made the situation even more disturbing.
It bore that day’s date and an enigmatic sentence:
“The light will be green.”
How could the author of the book have known that the indicator light would be on that day?
When they returned to the door, an internal telephone suddenly began to ring.
Valentina picked it up.
A distorted voice announced:
“You have found P-17.”
Adrián grabbed the receiver and demanded to know who was speaking.
“The door is not the secret,” the voice simply replied before ending the call.
Behind the broken panel, Valentina then discovered an envelope containing a nineteen-year-old photograph.
It showed four people standing in front of that same wooden paneling: a woman, two men, and a little girl wearing a yellow cardigan.
Isabella was wearing almost identical clothes that day.
In her bedroom, Adrián discovered a label sewn inside the cardigan:
“P-17 — REENACTMENT 2.”
Everything had therefore been arranged to recreate a scene from the past.
But for what purpose?
As she examined the photograph, Valentina noticed that none of the four people were looking at the door.
Their eyes were fixed on a large mirror hanging on the opposite wall.
Behind its frame was a small hidden compartment containing an old key and an audio cassette.
The recorded voice belonged to a woman.
“If you’re hearing this, it means someone has recreated the scene. Do not open the black door. The green light does not mean it is safe to open. It only means that someone, somewhere else, knows you’ve found it.”
Then came the most disturbing revelation:
“The real objective was never what lies behind P-17. It was to observe which one of you would give the order to break down the wall.”
Everyone slowly turned toward Adrián.
The voice continued:
“The first time, it wasn’t him. If Adrián gave the order today, then the reenactment was successful.”
At that very moment, the green indicator light went out and turned red.
A faint signal sounded, and a message appeared on the small screen:
REENACTMENT 2 COMPLETE.
A second line appeared:
NEXT STAGE: MATEO.
Mateo’s face went ashen.
For the first time since the beginning of this strange ordeal, Isabella looked away from the door.
She was staring at Mateo.
And that look alone was enough to make everyone understand that the real mystery was only just beginning.
