🤣 I turned a pile of old stuff into a coffee table worthy of a designer living room!
Romanian legs I salvaged, planks from the garden, and an old frame… and just like that, a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture was born.
You’ll never guess what I discovered under that dusty old shelter!
Come check out the full transformation and the final result — it’s really worth it.👉 All the details in the first comment 👇👇👇
Sometimes, it only takes a little spark to give birth to an idea. While rummaging under an old shelter, I came across some forgotten Romanian table legs. Their retro look immediately won me over.
And as if by a twist of fate, the previous owner came by the next day to drop off the fourth leg. I couldn’t miss this opportunity — my future coffee table had just come to life.
Not far from there, an old solid wood frame, worn but still sturdy, was waiting for a second chance. I repaired it with wood glue and filled the holes left by old joints. After five coats of white paint, it had regained its dignity.
For the tabletop, I recycled some planks I’d found abandoned in the garden. Cut, smoothed with a grinder, and then solidly assembled, they took their place on top.
After a little edge adjustment with the grinder and two coats of protective oil, my coffee table was ready. Unique, full of character, and entirely homemade.
Today, it’s holding up my television, but tomorrow, it will proudly stand next to a couch. Well… once I have a couch!
