It had seen everything: celebrations, long family evenings, countless kitchen conversations. But over time, its brown varnish had faded, its legs creaked at the slightest movement, and in the middle, a large hole testified to its old age. Yet, I just couldn’t bring myself to let it go.

So, I decided to restore it. The process took a few days: first, I stripped off the old paint and cleaned the surface, then I reinforced the fragile parts. But the hole in the middle remained a challenge.

Once the structure was solid and smooth, it was time for the most exciting part: painting. I chose a bright white, both fresh and elegant.

Yet, something was still missing… So, I added small printed roses. After carefully cutting and gluing them, I protected everything with a layer of varnish.

Today, this chair has a whole new look, blending vintage charm with subtle elegance. It has become a true decorative piece, adding a soft and cozy touch to the room. But most importantly, it continues to tell the story of our home—just with a renewed appearance.
