After losing everything, she now resides on her native farm.
This famous host of gastronomic programs arrived at the big screen for the very first time in 83. Marie-Thérèse Ordonnez was a major figure in French catering.
By transforming her vocation into a profession, Maïté made her dream come true. She replaced her SNCF announcer hat with an apron.
Maïté’s fame was already dazzling in 1990.
It all began in 83, when she met director Patrick Bellotto when he was invited to film a documentary on a selection of rugby players for which the future host was responsible for preparing meals.
With presenter Michelle Banze-Lawton, she presented the popular cooking show “La cuisine des mousquetaires” from 83 to 97.
She then revealed her talent as part of the show “À table” and, for many years, she hosted Sud Radio.
In parallel with her professional career in the media, Maïté launched into the restaurant business.
His shows are filmed in Maïté’s restaurant. She then published recipe books and made documentary and fiction films.
However, Ms. Ordonnez’s life was turned upside down in 2013. She lost her purpose when her only adorable child died of cancer.
After the disappearance of her son, the closure of her business (2015) and, finally, the loss of her husband (2020), she left to live far from everyone and no one, except those close to her, knows exactly where she lives.
Some media indicated that she had returned to live on her native farm, in the Landes.
