I ran my hand over the cabinet – thick grease layer, sticky layer, that ugly yellow muck that never goes away 😩 I thought it would stay forever… until I tried this mixture 🤯 Just one application – the dirt didn’t just wipe off… it melted away 😱🔥 I’m sharing the trick in the article below! 👇
Every day, we cook, roast, or simmer dishes in the kitchen. Little by little, a thin layer of grease forms on the surfaces of our cabinets. At first, it’s hard to notice, but over time, the cabinets start to look dirty and the whole kitchen takes on a neglected look, which can ruin our appetite.
Recently, while sitting at my kitchen table, I glanced at my cabinets and was shocked. They were a mess, covered in a greasy, yellowish layer. I decided to clean them right away, but quickly realized it wasn’t as easy as I thought.
Choosing the right cleaning product for kitchen furniture can be tricky. It’s important to pick something that removes grease well, but doesn’t damage the surface. Cabinets can be made of different materials, such as wood, laminated particle board, or plastic-coated panels. Using the wrong cleaning product can not only damage the kitchen’s appearance but also lead to extra costs for repairs.
I was looking for something that could break down grease without harsh chemicals.
That’s when the advice from experienced housewives came to my rescue. It turns out that vegetable oil is surprisingly effective at dissolving greasy deposits. The secret is in properly mixing it with other simple ingredients. I decided to try it right away.
I took a small container and mixed one tablespoon of baking soda with one tablespoon of vegetable oil. I mixed it well until it was smooth and uniform – not too thick, not too runny.
Using a soft sponge, I applied the mixture to the greasy spots on the cabinets and let it sit for about thirty minutes. There was no need to scrub hard or damage the surface.
After the time was up, I gently wiped the cabinets with the same sponge. The grease came off easily. On some stubborn spots, I had to repeat the process, but in the end, all the dirt was gone. Once the grease was removed, I wiped everything with a clean, dry cloth.
The result was impressive – the cabinets were clean and looked brand new. And all without using harsh chemicals, just a simple homemade solution.
Now, my kitchen shines with freshness, and I’m thrilled to have found a simple and safe method to keep it clean.
Good luck with your cleaning!
