At 47, this extraordinary woman lost an astonishing 518 pounds (235 kg), proving that it’s never too late to change your life. She’s a true example of courage and perseverance. Bravo, Pauline! 👏 Check out how she looks now in the first comment! 👇
In 2012, Pauline was listed in the Guinness World Records as the heaviest woman alive, weighing over 700 pounds (320 kg). A single mother in California, she depended on her son Dillon, endured mockery, and was unable to move on her own.
Her record concealed a painful reality: a toxic marriage where her ex-husband encouraged her unhealthy habits, leading to extreme obesity. Struggling with severe health issues and confined to a wheelchair, Pauline faced a turning point in her life.
But she didn’t give up. “I wanted to reclaim my independence,” she said. In 2014, she joined TLC’s My 600-lb Life, working with Dr. Younan Nowzaradan on a strict diet plan. She reduced her calorie intake to 1,200 per day in hopes of qualifying for gastric bypass surgery.
This surgery became the turning point in her life. Over the years, she shed 518 pounds, and by January 2022, Pauline proudly announced on Instagram that she weighed 223 pounds (101 kg).
Her radiant smile and renewed confidence are the ultimate proof of her incredible mental and physical transformation.
Today, Pauline inspires thousands. Her followers cheer her on: “You’re a true inspiration,” “Bravo for your strength.” Her story proves that with determination and hard work, anything is possible. 🌟
