A tiny house in the heart of Rome, just steps from the Pantheon and St. Peter’s Square. Built in the 18th century, the home had been abandoned for many years until it was purchased by architect and designer Marco Pierazzi in 2010.
Despite its small size (7 m²), it was transformed into a fully operational home.
On the first floor, there’s a kitchen with all the necessary comforts and a bathroom with a shower. There’s also a folding table that can be hidden to save space, allowing 3 or 4 people to sit comfortably. To reach the second floor, you need to climb a ladder and unfold a part of the ceiling…
The upper level is furnished with a sofa bed and a TV, making the room both practical and cozy.
Marco and his partner lived in this compact home for a few years until they had a baby. They then decided to rent it out to people looking for unique accommodation.
