During a hike into the mountains, Tia, a nice single mother, and her father, encountered an injured dog laying motionless on the side of the pathway.
From a closer look, the kind people found out that the poor dog had been badly injured, so that he was not able to move and walk. The dog was abandoned and let to die in the wild.
But Tia with her father had no intention to leave the poor creature to suffer and die in the isolation.
Though the dog was massive and heavy, weighing about 55 pounds, Tia decided to carry him on her shoulder and hike back to safety.
Tia did her best to save the helpless creature, she had to use all her strength to carry the heavy dog down to the mountain’s base.
In such cases, all the impossible things become possible, as the circumstances someone has to face, give him or her extraordinary strengths to overcome the difficulties, which seem out of someone’s power.
The way was long and hard, but Tia had a great will to continue to walk. Time to time, when she felt too exhausted, she took her time to have a rest, laying on the rock, putting the dog on her belly.
Eventually, after six hours, walking about 6 miles, Tia completed her mission. She rescued the poor dog’s life.
Later, she could track down the pup’s humans and learned that their dog slipping on a snowy crevice had fallen off a 100 ft cliff, then the poor dog rolled another 200 ft, then they thought the dog might be dead, but the strong dog managed to survive.
Though the recovery process was long and hard, the saved dog, named Boomer, now is healthy and happy with his new, kind owner, who rescued him, giving a second chance for life.
