The house of the parents of Andres Canto stands in the suburbs of Alicante.

On the day of the quarrel, the guy refused to go with his parents to relatives and said that he would have great fun himself.

Then he went out into the backyard and started digging a hole.

It wasn’t limited to one day. Andres dug every day after school, and he himself could not fully explain why he was doing this.

Construction went faster when a friend gave the guy a pneumatic drill.

Six years later, the dungeon has turned into a comfortable apartment.

Canto even installed a heating system, but from May to September, the most comfortable temperature in the cave is about 20 degrees Celsius.

“I made the rooms, covered the ceiling and walls with concrete. This is no longer a cave, but a real apartment,” Andres told reporters.

Now, the guy in his spare time continues to improve his underground home. Andres expects to live in it until he collects the first payment of the mortgage on a real apartment.
