The paparazzi have followed Princess Diana’s every footsteps – she is the most photographed woman in the world to this day. It’s no secret that her relationship with Prince Charles was not successful and ultimately ended in divorce.
Lady Di admitted in an interview that she was very unhappy in her marriage. But in public, she always hid her pain behind a radiant smile.
And yet, she did not always succeed in hiding her emotions from the lenses of photographers, who captured what was really happening inside her.
After Diana agreed to marry Prince Charles, she received incredible media attention. Not everyone could have handled it.
Although Diana Spencer always communicated with the media and photographers with special elegance, she did not get used to it right away. One day, she even burst into tears while sitting behind the wheel of her car.
“I know it’s just a job they have to do, but sometimes I wish they wouldn’t,” Lady Di said. This photo was taken at the preschool where she worked when she became engaged to Charles. The future princess looks a little depressed.
Diana would wake up in the morning and feel no desire to get out of bed, so strong was her apathy. But instead of supporting her, her husband calls her “unstable,” a label that will stick with her for years.
It was during this trip that Prince Charles first realized that the public preferred his young and beautiful wife. Diana, however, could do nothing to quell her husband’s jealousy or disappear into people’s hearts.
