Meet Pretinha, an adorable dog, who adopted some newborn opossums. Her human, Stephanie Maldonado found occasionally some baby opossums, who were all alone.
They just lost their mother and were too weak and helpless to survive. The dog instructor, who lives in Rio de Janeiro, saved them and took them to the local Wildlife Rescue center.
But, unfortunately, they had no place and Stephanie had nothing to do, but to take them home. She started to take care of them, though it was a hard task.
The orphaned opossums were too young and weak, and it was practically impossible mission to keep them alive. But Pretinha rushed to help her kind human.
As soon as she met the little creatures, she began to sniff and lick them, she accepted them, becoming their adoptive mother. The caring dog kept the poor souls warm all the time sitting next to them. She treated them like her own babies.
Pretinha’s kindness, care, love and comfort helped the little opossums stay alive and healthy. They could survive thanks to their caring adoptive mother, who loved to carry them on her back with great pleasure. They became inseparable.
Little opossums now enjoy their lives with their lovely mom and kind human mom in a sweet forever home.
