In the Polish city of Bydgoszcz, there is just an ordinary animal shelter, where brave and compassionate people help unfortunate animals find a second chance for a happy life.
Some of the poor fellows who got there need medical help, while others only need attention and love.
Among these guests of the shelter is a cat named Radamens.
This cat is the most unusual resident of the shelter. And it is he who makes this shelter completely unique.
The fact is that Radamens – quite sincerely, following his own mental impulses, helps animals during difficult rehabilitation after operations.
The story of the cat itself is very touching and sad. It was brought at the age of two months by the previous owners for euthanasia.
The kitten had severe upper respiratory tract inflammation. This disease seemed so incurable and strange that the kitten was isolated from the rest of the animals.
But through the efforts of the staff of the shelter, Radamens was cured.
As soon as he got to his feet, he immediately began to take care of animals that ended up in the shelter, which were somehow sick or were undergoing rehabilitation after operations.
The cat did not make a distinction – helping cats, dogs or any other pets.
The staff of the shelter even jokingly called Radamens a full-time nurse.
