In Houston, Texas, during the strongest hurricane “Harvey”, the man found three little kittens right under the porch of his house.
Having brought the kittens into the house and making sure that nothing threatens them, he decided, despite the bad weather, to try and find their mother.
This story with photos was later posted by the guy’s neighbor on Reddit, and it scattered around the world.
At first, the guy stuck an advertisement about kittens on a post, but then he decided to find a cat on his own.
He began walking around the houses on his street one by one.
During his rounds, he came across a tricolor cat that was soaking wet through, which seemed to be a street cat and was walking somewhere.
The cat turned out to be friendly and let the man approach her. The guy took the cat with him and brought her home.
At home, he dried her with a towel and the cat looked very grateful, her tail sticking up.
The guy was not sure if the cat was the mother of these kittens, he took pictures of her and posted them on the Internet, asking if the cat is lactating (judging by her belly, she is).
Then he placed the cat and kittens in the same room and a miracle happened, the cat went to these kittens and began to feed them.
So the guy reunited the cat with the kittens and saved the kittens from death.
On the street, with a long stay, they could suffer from rain and cold, and it is not known whether the walking mother cat would return to them.
