These pictures show how the mother of a lion cub, risking her own life, descends into a precipice in order to save her baby, who is about to fall down.
One wrong move by the mother, and both of them would have faced inevitable death.
Initially, 3 adult lions intended to help the baby. But then, the other 2 moved back, as the cliff was too steep even for their long and tenacious claws.
And only a caring and fearless mother dared to go down to her baby and saved him, literally lifting him in her teeth.
