In one of the National Parks in Botswana, an incident occurred that made people believe in miracles.
The lioness mother was walking with a pride in the park and heard crying.
She went to the sound and saw a fox. The animal was injured and needed help.
Due to damage to the hind legs, the baby could not move.
And then the male of the pride pounced on the cub, ready to tear him to pieces.
However, the lioness bravely blocked his path and did not allow him to do so.
The lioness defended the fox and did not allow anyone to offend him, even if it was the king of beasts.
Apparently, the lioness woke up a powerful maternal instinct, and this saved the fox’s life.
It is interesting that with each attempt to pounce, the lion received a paw from the lioness.
So the family of lions left the fox and moved on, and the cub soon got better, and he went to look for his family.
We see very frequent evidence confirming that animals are much kinder and fairer than people.
After all, the lioness in this case voluntarily abandoned the prey, which was supposed to be attacked by the predatory instinct itself.
But the maternal instinct turned out to be much more powerful and strong, and she did not do it.
And we hope that by a miracle, the surviving fox found his lost family and was able to reunite with it.

That sweet lady lion had just had babies so that little fox was very lucky. The motherly instinct is a powerful one. I do hope the little fox went on the live a long life, but being surrounded by bigger meaner animals, I am not so sure. Just nice to see a nice story about wild animals.
