37-year-old Irina Shayk is one of the most sought-after models this year. No wonder she appears on the cover of many magazines.
For example, the May issue of Harper’s Bazaar was released recently, for which Irina modeled.
She not only posed for a photo shoot, but also gave a rather candid interview. So, the fashion model admitted that she became much more self-confident after she gave birth to her daughter, Lea.
“People often ask me if I have always been so self-confident. But this was not the case before. I just learned to love my flaws. We all need to learn to love ourselves. My daughter is the main reason why I began to love myself even more. She often says: “I love dad so much, I love mom so much.” And then she adds that she loves herself. I look at her and understand that I was not like that at the age of six,” said Irina.
Shayk added that she considers it extremely important to instill human values in her daughter, and not teach her how to be attractive in appearance.
The fashion model also emphasized that her grandmother played a special role in her development.
“I have always admired her, she was my icon in almost everything. She always had kind words for me. That’s what real beauty is,” added Irina.
According to her, over time, she began to understand how much motherhood changed her.
“Being a mother doesn’t mean you can’t go out in a tiny skirt or post a hot photo on social media,” Shayk added.
According to the model, since the beginning of her career, she has repeatedly encountered the opinions of people who believed that she was completely different from a fashion model.
