Dogs are not only very smart, lovely creatures, who considered to be the humans’ best friend, but they have a special ability or instinct to rush to help both human beings and other living creatures in need.
Some people from the shore of Port Noarlung witnessed a heroic, selfless action of a dog, named Max.
One beautiful sunny day, Max with his owner Rob Osborn and his human brother was enjoying their free time at the beach.
Suddenly, Rob noticed a boy, swimming on the mouth of the fast moving river, got panicked.
He saw how the current of water drove the boy to a rocky, dangerous and deep part of the river.
Before to do something to rush to help the boy, his quick-thinking dog, noticing the boy in danger, jumped into the water to save the drowning boy.
He acted very quickly. Rob was encouraging Max from the shore.
The tide was rising, sucking the boy over to the rocky parts of the river. Within a few seconds, brave Max reached the frightened boy.
Luckily, the dog was wearing a life jacket. And the boy, grabbing that jacket, swam to the shore. They both were safe and sound.
Max is a real hero. Thanks to him, the boy is alive.
