In September 2018, Dean Nicholson, a 31-year-old man from Scotland, got the idea to travel around the world.
Without delaying the implementation of this idea, he took a trip on his bike from his hometown of Dunbar alone. Dean’s trip, overall, was proceeding quite well, starting his journey southward.
He managed to visit eight different countries.
It is worth noting that at the moment when Dean was crossing the state border with Montenegro, his plans changed dramatically.
Dean heard a loud meow behind him, which he immediately recognized even through the heavy music playing.
Looking around, he noticed a small cat sitting and looking at him with its beautiful eyes.
Without thinking twice, the guy went down to her in order to pet her and move on. But, apparently, the cat had completely different plans… Initially, Nicholson did not plan to take the cat with him.
But, having touched her fur, he simply fell in love and could no longer part with her.
Dean understood that someone had dumped her and she was most likely very hungry.
Without thinking twice, the traveler took the cat with him and took it to the nearest veterinary clinic.
After making sure that everything was alright with her, the guy awarded his companion with the beautiful name Nala. And the friends set off on the road together.
Dean made room for the cat on his bike by removing the front-mounted digital equipment and basket, instead of which he installed a zip lockable pet bag.
It is worth noting that Nala quickly showed her adventurous nature.
Dean admits that the cat loves to travel long distances without discomfort.
The animal often attracts the attention of representatives of the local population of different countries.
Some people even take pictures with the cat, having learned the history of her acquaintance with the traveler.
One day Dean and his companion were caught in a cold rain, as a result of which Nala fell ill.
At this time, the guy realized how he did not want to lose his furry friend.
So he decided to stay for a while in one of the hostels, waiting for her final recovery.
Now everything is in perfect order with Nala. She continues to keep company with her new friend.
