The man was lucky to catch a shark with a bait.
Out of the corner of his eye, the fisherman caught some movement in the sky, but did not pay attention to it. And, as it turned out, completely in vain.
Indeed, in the next second, the caught shark was picked up and carried into the sky by a huge eagle flying past, and an eyewitness filmed everything that happened.
Chad Crissman and his friend Darren Wick spent the whole day on the coast, the catch was very poor.
Only in the evening, Crissman’s fishing line was sharply stretched. And the man finally got a medium-sized shark out of the water.
Chad asked a friend to take a catch, at which point the eagle appeared.
It looks like the bird has been circling over the fishermen for a long time, picking up a good moment. The eagle swooped down on the prey, grabbed the shark and immediately began to dine, not at all fearing the fishermen.
All that remained was to film everything on camera.
Bald eagles are so large that they often prey on sharks. Here, a bird picked up a predator from the water at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina.
Interestingly, the thief of the catch was then identified by local ornithologists from the video. It is not the first time fishermen have met the bald eagle Eugene.
