In Caseville, Virginia, a greyhound named Eris. And her nose exceeds 12.2 inches!
Even as a puppy, Eris was different.
She did not fit into the breed standards. The veterinarians predicted problems with her teeth, the breeders even wanted to euthanize her.
But there were two compassionate souls. When Lily and Savannah came to choose a puppy, Eris herself approached them and climbed into her arms.
The deed is done and since then the dog lives with them.
She turned two this spring.
The length of the nose of Eris exceeds 12.2 inches, and even by the standards of the breed it is too long and elongated.
And this is the same nose that sticks everywhere, fortunately, it crawls into any gap, even between the sofa cushions.
Eris is a very emotional and curious creature, besides she is lucky – none of the negative predictions came true.
She has no problems with her teeth and joints, she is a very playful and cheerful animal. And a sweet tooth too!]
Since Eris is a kind of deviation from the norm, the length of her nose was not officially recorded.
And it’s not so necessary, the main thing is that the dog and the owners are happy!
