Emma Heming Willis is addressing what she deems a “clickbait” article about the 68-year-old actor, clarifying that the suggested lack of joy in her husband is far from the truth.
In a video shared on her Instagram on March 3, Emma emphasized the need to dispel the notion that a neurocognitive disease diagnosis marks the end, urging people not to succumb to the belief that there’s nothing left after such a diagnosis.
Bruce’s family, including Emma, their daughters Mabel Willis and Evelyn Willis, and his ex-wife Demi Moore along with their children Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, and Tallulah Willis, disclosed in February 2023 that Bruce had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
Nearly a year earlier, they had revealed his battle with aphasia, another condition impacting cognitive abilities, leading to his decision to step away from acting.
In her Instagram post, Emma Heming Willis shared reflections on how the actor’s health struggles have impacted both him and his close ones. She expressed that while there is undeniably grief and sadness, a new chapter has begun—one brimming with love, connection, joy, and happiness. Emma emphasized that this is the current state of their journey.
