This time, a mother cat saved the lives of eight orphaned hedgehogs. Shortly after birth, these tiny creatures lost their mom.
They were born at Zadgorod Zoo. The orphaned hedgehogs were weak and helpless, and were struggling to survive.
The Zoo staff tried to feed them from bottle, but it didn’t work. The babies couldn’t eat on their own.
Two days later, they became hungry. Poor hedgehogs needed warmth, love and comfort of a mother to stay alive.
Then, the Zoo workers brought the little babies to cat Musya, who was a caring, calm and kind cat.
They didn’t even expect what could happen. Her reaction was unexpected. This selfless cat immediately adopted the orphaned babies, like her own kittens.
Musya, who a short time before fostered some orphaned kittens and still was producing milk, easily became a mother for these little creatures.
These little souls admitted Musya as their own mother.
