Mother and kids were walking along the bank of the Welsh river. While walking, they found a bottle with a letter hidden inside. To get to the coast, the bottle with the message had to swim about ten kilometers.
Kat and her kids were walking along the Clwyd River and noticed how a bottle gleamed from the sun’s rays on dry land. At first, the family thought it was plastic to be thrown in the trash can.
When they picked up the find, they saw that there was a message inside.
“We were confused and surprised, because we realized that there was a valuable message inside. For my children, this is a dream, because they found something interesting and can open the container on their own to read the message,” Kat said.
They did not open the bottle on the shore, but took it with them. At home, it turned out that the letter was written by schoolchildren in the winter of 1985. The message is very well-preserved.
The letter said that the guys were walking along the reservoir and left the container near the settlement of Kloceynog.
“Would you be kind enough to send a letter or phone the number 3019 to tell you found it,” was written on paper.
In addition to the date written in the letter, there were other signs indicating that many years had passed.
The phone number included only 4 digits. They started changing numbers to 5 and 6 digits just at that time. Also, the guys indicated that they are students of the third and fourth grades.
The woman wanted to find out where this container had been for such a long period. And then she saw that her children want to contact those who threw the bottle into the river.
“I posted on social media to help us find senders.”
