This time, the special bond was farmed between a giant dog and a mini chipmunk.
The huge dog’s owner, Kristin, when was hiking up in the mountains, she found a newborn helpless chipmunk.
After waiting for 30 minutes to see chipmunk’s mother might appear.
Kristin decided that he apparently was abandoned and took him home, otherwise he would not survive in the wild.
After consulting with several vets, Kristin learned how to take care of the miniature creature, who was called Kip.
The first few weeks were critical for poor little Kip, but soon he was doing okay.
Charlie, Kristin’s massive dog, fell in love with the little gentle soul, as soon he saw him.
He was involved in all the procedures regarding with Kip’s care and treatment. He was all the time next to him
Kristin was surprised by the caring behavior of her dog. Charlie licked him, when he was feeding with a bottle, he liked nuzzling him all the time, sitting and watching at him.
Kip liked to take a snooze on his friend’s back, burying himself in his soft fur. The abandoned chipmunk thought, perhaps, the dog is his mother and found comfort in him.
Unfortunately, Kristin, noticed that Kip is not that energetic, he was physically not active. Kip was maturing slowly.
The lovely chipmunk became lethargic, he was napping all the time.
One day, he got to sleep and didn’t wake up anymore.
Charlie was heartbroken. He was missing his little friend.
Then, Kristin decided to help him to overcome his pain and sadness. She gave a stuffed toy chipmunk to Charlie, who accepted it and were all the time with it.
