Blind, senior Dachshund and his Pit Bull best friend who guides him everywhere are finally reunited

Dachshund OJ is 12 years old, and pit bull Dozer is 6.

A special connection was established between them – they are always nearby, and Dozer even took patronage over OJ, since the baby is completely blind.

OJ was staying with a kind woman when she decided to take a pit bull from the shelter.

From that day on, a friendship was struck between these two!

Unfortunately, the owner of the dogs lost her home, job and was forced to wander the streets…

She simply could not keep two animals, so with tears in her eyes she gave them to the shelter!

She asked that the pets not be separated, as they are very attached to each other.

The staff of the shelter listened to the woman’s wishes and gave both dogs to the new family at once.

But very soon, a local resident saw a dachshund wandering along a rural road 100 miles from his home.

The man caught him and took him to the shelter, because OJ seemed to him a stray, not a pet.

Employees of the center using a microchip found out who the owner of OJ was, and called this woman.

She refused to take the dachshund, wishing to leave it at the shelter. And she did not want to give up the pit bull Dozer!

But how can you separate animals that are so attached to each other?

The story of OJ and Dozer quickly spread across social media and people wondered if the dogs would ever meet.

Finally, after several hours of persuasion, the woman agreed to hand over Dozer.

OJ and Dozer, after a long separation, were incredibly happy to meet. They jumped, fooled around and incessantly waved their tails in greeting.

Now the dogs are in the shelter, and in the near future they will not be given anywhere.

Soon the staff of the shelter will start looking for a home for them again. Only this time, they will require the owners to sign a document prohibiting the separation of animals.
