Bees are some of the most amazing insects on the planet.
In addition, they are very important for humanity, because a third of all food that we eat depends on the tireless work of these wonderful creatures.
Of course, bees not only work hard every day, they, like any other living creature, need rest and sleep.
Not so long ago, Joe Neely, who specializes in wildlife photography, was fortunate enough to shoot a truly magical and mesmerizing picture – two bees were sleeping in an embrace in the very center of the flower.

The sleep of bees is a very curious phenomenon in itself.
For example, one of the American researchers of bees says that they do not have eyelids, so it is impossible to see a bee with closed eyes.
It is also interesting that their sleep changes with age.
Younger individuals sleep less, while older ones can afford half an hour to an hour and a half of rest each night.
Many of bees sleep in hives.
However, bees of the Diadasia diminuta species chose a more romantic and graceful place for their lodging – flower buds.
So their dream scenes are perfect!
