The child and dad were walking on the outskirts of their small town when bad weather began. The boy managed to tell his mother that they were lost.
Immediately after, the phone ran out of power, and the father lost consciousness. The son tried to drag him on a sled, but it fell apart.
Then the fourth-grader lay down on his father so that he would not freeze. The police with cynologists and volunteers began searching, but the tracks in the forest were quickly covered by a blizzard.
Patrolmen on foot have passed five kilometers, and miraculously noticed a black spot in the snowdrifts.
“The man lay on his back in the snow. And the kid was lying on top of him, chest to chest. He attempted to warm him up. He didn’t immediately wake up when we started lifting him.”
“At first, it appeared that we were late,” the patrol police inspector said.
Law enforcement officers admit that in the dark forest they desperately recalled all the medical skills: the boy was dressed in a police jacket, and they began to warm him up. He finally opened his eyes.
The child and the unconscious father were carried along the snowdrifts in their arms to the road, where they were eventually handed over to the ambulance doctors. The man was taken immediately to the emergency room.
But for a day of treatment in intensive care, the man regained consciousness and asked to go home. The boy was also under medical supervision. He didn’t even catch a cold.
In the hospital, the boy received gratitude and gifts from the police for his efforts. He says he won’t go to the forest in bad weather anymore. But he promises to learn life-saving skills perfectly well.
