Lisa McDonald and her sister from Melbourne, Canada care for their seriously ill mother in the palliative care unit of a nursing home.
The health of a woman is deteriorating every day, and it is important for the sisters to cheer her up, make her happy and smile by any means.
Recently, Lisa came up with a great way to please an elderly mother.
She decided to arrange a meeting with a real deer.
Mother loved these animals very much and considered them the most beautiful, but she saw them only in the zoo.
The sisters contacted Chris and Simone, who had a mobile petting zoo in Melbourne, and asked if they could bring Bambi the fawn.
“Mom’s condition has taken a turn for the worse today, and Simone and Chris didn’t hesitate. They drove for 2.5 hours to take Bambi to a meeting with her mother, Lisa said. – Out of pure love and kindness. I have no words to thank them for what they have done for my mom and my family.”
Chris carried the deer into the old woman’s room in her arms. She was amazed, very glad of such a meeting and even managed to pet him.
When Lisa posted a photo of the unusual meeting on Facebook, commenters were moved to tears.
