Sammy is an adorable seal who has become a star of the beach in Weymouth, England.
He is an amazingly friendly and sociable creature who loves to swim to vacationers and demand hugs, and he is also a great photo model!
Photographer Will Badman drove to the same beach to photograph the famous seal, and he had a wonderful shot.
Sammy enjoyed the attention and posed for the photographer, funnily.
The seal first appeared on the beach at the height of the quarantine, when most of the locals were at home and the beaches were empty.
For Sammy, this was the perfect place to relax and fish.
The photographer warned that despite being cute, Sammy is a wild animal:
“He has a favorite pastime – jumping on the backs of floating people, and hugging them.
However, do not forget that Sammy is a wild animal, so he always needs freedom and space,” – says the photographer.
The sociable Sammy is now under the supervision of a local group of volunteers.
They make sure that the seal is always safe and not disturbed too much.
