Compassion and support are important, not only among people. And in relation to our smaller brothers – animals.
This is well known to Long Dum, a man who lost his home and lives at one of the train stations in Thailand.
The homeless man has a hard time, but he never forgets about the cats living on the street, and at the slightest opportunity he tries to buy food for them.
The man earns money for food by selling limes. Regardless of how much money Long gets from this, he firstly buys food for his tailed friends, and with the rest of the money, something for himself.
And if the money is not enough, then he agrees to be patient.
The man cannot leave cats in trouble, because he considers them his family. And for sure, he knows that besides him, they have no one to rely on.
After a tourist took a photo of Long and posted the photo online, more customers came to him, and animal lovers brought food for the cats.
Once, people who were ready to help even brought new clothes to the homeless man, gave him a haircut and offered to rent an apartment. But Lung refused, because he could not leave his pets to their fate.
Long Dum is a worthy example of how, in need of basic goods, he sacrifices himself for the sake of his four-legged friends.
