The dog loves birds so much that she was not afraid to stand between them and an alligator near her home in Florida.

The 8-year-old dog got quite serious injuries, but nothing threatens his life.

Beauty’s owner Misti Roberts says that the animal has a broken hip bone and wounds on its back. However, Beauty is already recovering.

The Roberts family lives on the shore of Lake Powell, Florida. Their Labrador dog grew up with domestic ducks and got used to such a company.

But ducks don’t like to play with a big dog too much. Therefore, Beauty often accompanied the birds to the lake and quietly watched them swim.

Once, during an ordinary walk to the lake, the owner of the Beauty heard a terrible noise.

The woman saw her dog stand between an alligator and a duck. Other birds screamed as best they could.

Although the alligator attacked the dog, she miraculously survived.

Misti and her 3 daughters immediately put Beauty in a van and drove her to the vet.

The broken leg was operated on and a metal rod was inserted there.

Now the Beauty has already started to run, but on 3 legs so far.

The whole family is looking forward to the return of their tailed heroine.

But they want to catch an alligator.

This is the responsibility of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

This is not the first time a dangerous reptile has been seen on the lake, and it can threaten not only animals, but also people.
