Removing the ancient finish was remarkably easy, I used a dish soap and metal sponge.
Since the pine was not valuable and the drawers needed to be changed, I determined to paint the dresser.
Although many people do not like the painted wood, but it depends on the style and the environment.
Here is how I altered the dresser, I bought the cheapest acrylic enamel, but its quality was not satisfying for me.
I used wooden frames, glue, and a wood filler. I found an old handles from the storage.
Not only that, but I cleaned the surface from even the smallest imperfections, then I started to paint it.
For the missing doors, I used market moldings.
Unlucky, the wood dried and a little warped, because I had bought it in August.
In the end, I attached the handles using some old brass from my collection.
The renovated dresser is now ready to be used.
So, will and determination can be very essential parts to achieve something that you really want.
