Little Nova’s family can be calm.
At four months old, the dog is ready to protect the owners from anyone – even from the “monsters” that she invented herself.
A few weeks ago, a brave puppy woke up a sleeping family at night with heart-rending barking.
It turned out that Nova found an unknown creature in her bed, and, like any self-respecting guard dog, rushed to the attack.
“The clock was well past midnight. Through my sleep, I heard Nova barking loudly. Since she usually behaves quietly at night, I decided to use the phone to check the camera installed above her enclosure and saw that she was looking at some object and circling around it all the time,” says the owner of the dog, Taylor Eubanks.
Taylor thought it might be a snake and rushed to save the puppy.
But to her surprise, the terrible “monster” that scared Nova so much turned out to be a wad of yarn.
The dog pulled it off her blanket herself during the day with her teeth, and they remained lying on the floor.
But even after the lights were turned on, Nova remained alert for a long time.
She watched the yarn intently. The presence of the owner gave her confidence, so that the dog even tried several times to attack the intruder.
Nova was able to calm down only after Taylor took the “intruder” out of the room.
“The rest of the night went smoothly,” says Taylor. – The crisis is over. And the suspect was thrown into the trash.”
The family was able to sleep peacefully, knowing that a brave and faithful protector lives in their house – even if she is still very small.
