This cat was found by rescuers from the Animal Control service.
They were shocked: there was a roll of duct tape around the cat’s neck. Having survived the abuse, the poor fellow was afraid of people.
They managed to catch the cat using the net. And when the unfortunate creature was taken to the clinic, the rescuers were horrified at how terrible his wound turned out to be.
The doctors said that, judging by the condition, the cat spent several months with the tape.
And all this time he could not eat and drink normally, so he was also emaciated and dehydrated.
Rescuers said the animal smelled like it was already dead.
Therefore, several operations and long-term treatment were required. The cat was given a name – Valentine.
The poor man’s physical health quickly improved.
But the mental wounds could not be healed for a long time.
Valentine was afraid of everything. So he was placed in a separate cage at the shelter.
Well, when the animal found loving owners, it finally recovered and blossomed. Look what Valentine has become!
