A resident of Utah said on social media that no one came to the party in honor of her son’s birthday, due to the fact that the celebration fell on New Year’s Eve.
According to the Daily Mail, as a result, the upset birthday boy was flooded with gifts and congratulations by complete strangers.
The mother of nine-year-old Jayden, Rosario Lopez, wrote a post in which she said that she planned a party with her son on the occasion of his birthday and sent out invitations in advance.
However, no one came to the party that they celebrated on New Year’s Eve, neither friends nor relatives. As a result, mother and son spent that day all alone.
In a post published in a local group, Rosario apologized for the disturbance and asked everyone for whom it is not difficult to congratulate her boy in the comments and write him a couple of kind words.
However, mom did not expect that her request would get hundreds of likes, people would start asking for their home address and send gifts, things, toys, and even come personally to congratulate the birthday boy.
In the comments, people whose birthdays also fall on big holidays began to share their feelings in order to cheer up Jayden, and he realized that he was not alone.
Another mother wrote that her children also had birthdays soon, and invited Jayden and Rosario to celebrate together.
