Wildlife with its surprises will never cease to admire people.
This time, the object of astonishment is the ability of compassion of elephants, which was offered by elephant herd to their new rescued blind elephant friend at the sanctuary.
Ploy Thong has spent her 30 years in a circus. She had to carry tourists on her back every day, walking on the streets in Thailand.
The elephant though is blind, she could transport riders nonstop from morning till the evening, and so every day during her entire life.
Ploy used her trunk as an orientation by wandering on the streets.
But one beautiful day, her sad past ended with a happy rescue by the volunteers of The Save Elephant Foundation.
She began a new life at the Elephant Nature Park, becoming a new resident of that sanctuary.
How the elephant herd welcomed Ploy is so incredible and touching.
Blind elephant didn’t even expect such a warm greeting by her new elephant friends.
They touched her with their trunks, showing her their compassion and warmth.
Apparently, Ploy has never had friends, and to receive such a heartwarming greeting from strange elephants was so heart melting.
The blind elephant understood that she eventually is surrounded by kind souls, which are ready to give her their comfort and love.
