On the night of February 5-6, the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles.
This time, the event was decided to be held at the Crypto.com Arena. And, of course, the biggest stars of the music industry appeared there.
On the red carpet, we looked with interest at the outfits of Lizzo and Camila Cabello, as well as Doja Cat, who this time decided to dress much more modestly than usual.
However, broadcast viewers around the world were looking forward to the appearance of the two main nominees – Adele and Beyoncé.
Each of the singers is nominated for an impressive number of awards. And Beyoncé could even break the Grammy record for the number of wins in nominations. And so it happened. However, the artist herself missed this important moment.
The 41-year-old star was announced as the winner of the Best R&B Song, but never made it to the stage.
The show’s host, Trevor Noah, explained the diva’s absence: “Actually, Beyoncé is on her way. But you know… The main benefit of hosting the Grammys in Los Angeles is that it’s convenient for everyone to get to. And the main disadvantage is that not everyone will get there because of traffic jams.”
The audience, by the way, perfectly understood Trevor’s joke, since they themselves, for sure, faced a similar problem on the way to the event.
