Although Kate and David Ogg cherished their relationship, the couple did not have children to be completely happy.
Kate struggled to get pregnant for a very long period, and the doctor finally gave her the wonderful news about three years after their wedding – she would have twins!
Future parents were in seventh heaven with happiness.
They began to prepare for the birth of the babies: they decorated the children’s room, bought playpens and lots of toys.
For Kate and David, a premature birth in the sixth month of pregnancy was a blow… The woman gave birth hard. That day was a real test for both her and the twins.
Kate recalls that after giving birth, a doctor approached her and her husband and asked if they had already come up with a name for their son. They replied that they named the boy Jamie. Then the doctor looked at them with sadness in his eyes and whispered: “I’m sorry guys, but we lost Jamie …”. Hearing this, David slowly sat down on the bed.
Kate asked to be allowed to hold her son to say goodbye to him. The boy was very cold. The woman asked her husband to lie down next to him to warm Jamie with her warmth.
She put a small body on her chest and began to tell the child how much she and dad were waiting for him and what a wonderful sister he has. They told their son that his uncles and aunts, grandparents were waiting for him at home. They talked to him and wept.
And then, to everyone’s surprise, Jamie inhaled, exhaled, inhaled again, opened his eyes and took David’s finger in his tiny hand, which was only a little bigger than a fingernail. Jamie is alive!
The doctors didn’t know what to say. They did not find a single medical explanation for this miracle – you cannot say otherwise.
Two years later, a replenishment happened in the family – a brother was born to the twins.
As for Jamie, he grows up a happy, healthy child and never ceases to please his parents.
