When Alice Brown stood at the well in Disneyland California, she never thought that her dream of seeing her Marine father again serving in Afghanistan would come true.
Alice’s mother captured this touching moment when her daughter makes a wish while standing next to Snow White.
“I want with all my heart for daddy to come home,” the girl says, closing her eyes.
Having made a wish, the girl opens her eyes and sees her father, Lieutenant Scott Brown, standing on one knee next to her.
“Hey baby,” he says to her before she jumps into her arms.
“Liz was very worried about the fact that her father was not at home for so long, she is her father’s daughter,” says her mother.
Since his departure, Alice and her 14-month-old brother Liam have had a toy in the form of a doll, in whose hands is a photograph of dad.
“My son was only 7 months old when I left, from that moment he saw me only in photographs,” says the father.
As soon as Alice realized that the well grants wishes, she immediately told her parents that she had another one.
“I want a puppy,” said the girl.
“No, you already have a brother,” the parents joked. Lieutenant Brown will have to return to duty, but for now the family is enjoying their time together.
